We believe that children are never too young to start gaining the social benefits of active participation in the arts.

Our tiniest members, aged from 0-2yrs, can come along to Wriggle and Rhyme, where children and parents sing and play together and explore their creativity through music, storytelling, movement and art in a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment.

Our 2-4 year olds can attend Teeny Talent and Teeny Tap and parents are welcome to remain in the class or to enjoy some time to themselves in the Centrestage café whilst their wee ones enjoy their favourite songs, dances and acting games.

All pre-school classes run at various times throughout the week and children can come to any or all sessions without pre-booking.

Behind the scenes

None of our productions could take place without the time, dedication and talent of our Technical Theatre class. This class, which meets on Saturday mornings, develops knowledge of the theatre and its technology, including sound, lighting, set design and set building. Participants learn theory and practical skills as they work towards assisting the technical crew in live theatre performances.
