THE RHYTHM KINGS - SATURDAY, JULY 7 2012

Jazz band The Rhythm Kings are the latest act to be announced as performing at the Kilmarnock Fair Festival 2012. They will take over Centrestage’s Big Marquee on Saturday, July 7 for an afternoon of Jazz in the Tent, completing the line-up for the five day long festival to be held at the Kilmarnock venue this July.

The Rhythm Kings have toured the British Isles with their repertoire of Dixieland and jazz classics and worked with jazz legends including Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk as well as less likely collaborators: the band has provided support for Rod Stewart at the S.E.C.C. in Glasgow and has even appeared with Dame Edna Everage!

The Kilmarnock Fair Festival runs at Centrestage Music Theatre, Kilmarnock, from Wednesday, July 4 to Sunday, July 8 2012. Jazz in the Tent is on Saturday, July 7 at 2pm. Tickets cost £5.
