Diva Fever @ Centrestage
It’s a great week at Centrestage as they have the honour of welcoming international blues singer and human rights activist Lea Gilmore to the building. Lea will be visiting the many varied projects delivered by Centrestage Communities including ‘The Unlikely Lads’, ‘Musical Generations’ “Catalyst” and the activities running in Ardeer, North Ayrshire. Lea will also be performing in the cabaret production of ‘Diva Fever’ on Saturday April 18th.
The team at Centrestage are also in preparations for their next full scale production ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’, a musical sequel to the 1950’s science fiction film ‘Forbidden Planet’. The plot is loosely based around Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ and infuses the tale with new life via an intergalactic setting and an incredible selection of rock and roll classics from the 1950’s and 1960’s. This show is bound to delight fans and newcomers alike with high energy performances, inspired costumes and musical numbers you’ll be singing for weeks afterwards.
Tickets are available for all upcoming Centrestage productions at the Centrestage Box Office on James Little Street, by calling 01563 551505 or via the button below...
